We offer two types of transport to people who are assessed as eligible to receive our service, Group and Individual Transport.
Shopping
Regular shopping at either Macquarie Shopping Centre, Hornsby Westfield or Carlingford Court (depending on where you live).
The bus will pick you up from home and return you and your shopping at the end of the day.
Social Outings
Day social outings, with a variety of options, planned on a monthly basis in consultation with passengers. Regular trips to the Sydney Fish Markets, picnics, excursions, and tours.
Costs vary according to the activity involved.
Community Friendship Group
Monthly transport to the Community Friendship Group.
This group is open to new-comers, involves minimal cost and is enjoyed by all.
Individual Transport Service
Individual Transport Service to social or health-related appointments for people who are unable to use regular transport due to a high degree of disability or geographic isolation.
Due to the high demand for individual transport we liaise closely with other transport providers and refer passengers to other agencies when we are unable to provide services.
Sometines Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community Transport Service may organise for your transport service to be provided by a Taxi.
Please Note:
We also hire our buses to related groups and organisations within the local government areas and offer a range of information regarding transport services, including the Taxi Subsidy Scheme.
