Tips for Clients
Before the Appointment On the day of your transport service, try to be ready 10-15 minutes before you are scheduled to be picked up. It is a good idea to have everything ready that you might need to take on your trip, such as medications, wallet, purse, destination address and contact phone number or medical referral. Please wait outside (where possible) to assist the Driver and fellow clients.
Going to the Appointment Other clients may be travelling with you. To help arrange your return trip, the Driver will give you the phone number to call when you are ready to be taken home.
After the Appointment Telephone or ask someone to call the mobile number on the card to advise that you are ready to go home. The Driver will let you know an approximate expected meeting time and will confirm the pick-up point (usually the same place you were dropped off). You may have to wait a while for your return trip. Our priority is to get clients to their appointments on time and to get them home when we can. Please remember we are a community service aiming to assist as many clients as possible.
